Padma Islami Life Insurance announce Dividends, Q1 Financials

Padma Islami Life Insurance Company Limited has recently released its unaudited financial report for the first quarter ending on March 31, 2023. The company’s financial report was reviewed and approved during a meeting of the Board of Directors held on Monday, July 17. This information has been confirmed by a source from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
According to the source, during the first three months of the current year, the company collected premiums amounting to Tk 3,17,14,579, which is significantly lower compared to Tk 7,85,70,055 collected during the same period last year.
Furthermore, the life fund of the company has decreased by Tk 239,79,32,000 during the mentioned period. In the previous year, the life fund stood at Tk 13,17,07,000 at the same time.
Padma Islami Life Insurance Limited has not declared any dividends for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2022. According to the source, the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on September 24 at 11 AM through a digital platform. The record date for this meeting has been set as August 20.
